Hey everybody! Olivia here! I want to give a shout out to the newest sponsor of Livvy's Treats, Urban Source at 3126 Main Street, Vancouver. Vicki Gillis is the owner there and she was so awesome to donate some of the recycled materials that went into my candied apples and the packaging.
I had the chance to interview Vicki, and she told me that Urban Source just celebrated their 23rd year in business. When she was an art student she had a summer job doing art with recycled materials. When Imagination Market shut down, she was inspired to start a business incorporating the Arts and Recycling.
My mom discovered their store a long time ago before I was born. She told me it would be a great place to go to get materials for my products. And wow, what a find! This store is really cool because you can go in and fill up a bag with all their unique and interesting art supplies. And the owner is really nice! :)
